Death by Force

On November 6, 2017, at approximately 5:27 a.m., Birmingham police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of 23rd Street South, within the Southtown public housing community. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Jeremy Stephen Omar Nicholas lying near the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
