On February 3, 2018, 22-year-old Davon Everson was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of 28th Street Southwest. Officers, already in the vicinity investigating reports of shots fired into an occupied dwelling, heard screams emanating from an alleyway.
