On a spring evening in the small community of Dawson, Alabama, the life of 33-year-old Jeremy Heath Perry, a White male, was tragically cut short. On May 6, 2019, deputies from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a residence on County Road 20 in the Skirum area, where they discovered Perry had been fatally shot.
