On July 6, 2017, in North Courtland, Alabama, 34-year-old Jimmy Lee Bolding and 41-year-old James Lemark Madden were fatally shot at Bolding's residence on Rosa Parks Street. Bolding was discovered deceased in the front yard, while Madden was found inside a mobile home on the property.
