On a late summer day in Geneva, Alabama, the life of a young girl was tragically cut short. Six-year-old Christa Screws, a Caucasian female, died on September 1, 2019, from a gunshot wound she sustained inside her family's home on East Latimer Street.

Following the incident, Christa was quickly taken to Wiregrass Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Her death was a shock to the local community, where she was known as a student at Mulkey Elementary School. The superintendent of G ...
