On the evening of September 5, 2019, 20-year-old African American male Ty-Riq Moon was fatally shot in the parking lot of a McDonald’s on Madison Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 9:23 p.m., prompting a response from Montgomery Police Department officers and fire medics.
