On January 3, 2020, 36-year-old Kristhian Canales of Kissimmee, Florida, was found fatally shot alongside Anthony L. Rodriguez of Lakeland, Florida, on County Road 123 in Ozark, Alabama. The discovery was made around 5:30 a.m., prompting an immediate investigation by local authorities.
