In the early hours of January 11, 2023, the life of 27-year-old Anthony Latez Gray Jr., a Black male, was tragically cut short in Ozark, Alabama. The fatal incident unfolded at the Jasmine Hill Apartments, where police responded to a call just after midnight. Upon arrival, they discovered Gray inside one of the apartments with a single gunshot wound to his chest.

Emergency services transported Gray to Dale Medical Center, but his injury proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead at 1:1 ...
