In the spring of 2020, the life of 26-year-old Tyler Wayne Price was tragically cut short in Grady, Alabama. On the night of April 25th, or early the next morning, Price was fatally wounded by gunfire. The incident that claimed his life also resulted in injury to another individual, Natalie Gibson. The shooting occurred when an assailant fired into Gibson's home.
The investigation into the death of Tyler Price led to the arrest of Demarcus Parker. Parker was subsequently charged with murder for his role in Price's death and attempted murder for the injuries sustained by Gibson. In the ensuing legal proceedings, Parker ultimately pleaded guilty to the charge of murder.
Following his guilty plea, Demarcus Parker was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of Tyler Price. The Montgomery County District Attorney described the crime as 'truly malicious' and commended the work of investigators and prosecutors in bringing the case to a close.
