In the late evening hours of Mother's Day, May 10, 2020, what should have been a day of celebration was irrevocably shattered by gunfire at a gas station in Mobile, Alabama. Twenty-eight-year-old Ricky Bernard Kidd Jr. was at the Pride Gas Station located at 1910 St. Stephens Road when violence erupted. The chaotic scene left both Kidd and another 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
