Ricky Bernard Kidd Jr., a 28-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 10, 2020, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. The incident took place on a Sunday evening around 9:00 p.m. in the vicinity of the 700 block of E. I-65 Service Road. Kidd, who had been residing in Mobile, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
