On August 17, 2020, at approximately 2 a.m., Montgomery Police Department officers responded to a call in the 1200 block of Bassett Drive, where they discovered 21-year-old Devontae Richardson suffering from a gunshot wound. Richardson was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
