On August 17, 2020, 13-year-old Ceyeria Lee was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in Oak Park, located in the 1000 block of Forest Avenue. Emergency responders found Ceyeria with a life-threatening gunshot wound; she was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
