On July 15, 2021, at approximately 8:46 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a shooting at the Speed Stop gas station located at 1891 Government Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Jaylun Cassino suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Cassino succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
