In the late summer of 2021, a deeply tragic event unfolded in Phenix City, Alabama, culminating in the death of Jessica Rose Martin, a 35-year-old woman. On September 24, 2021, law enforcement responded to a call regarding a shooting at a residence on U.S. Highway 80. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene that would later be described as a domestic violence incident that had escalated to a triple murder and suicide.
