Tyquan Glanton, a 22-year-old from Dothan, Alabama, was fatally shot on the evening of October 1, 2021, in what authorities later described as a homicide. The incident occurred in the vicinity of a residence located in the 100 block of Mary Street, in a neighborhood that had previously been the site of other violent incidents.
