On December 4, 2021, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Anniston Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a possible shooting in the 900 block of Woodland Court in Anniston, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Christum D. Trammell lying in the roadway, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported Trammell to the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
