On March 25, 2022, in Citronelle, Alabama, a tragic incident unfolded involving 31-year-old Christopher Patterson. He was fatally shot by his 70-year-old uncle, Pagan "Pat" Patterson, during a domestic altercation at their shared residence. The confrontation also resulted in injuries to their 61-year-old female caretaker, who sustained a gunshot wound to her shoulder.
