Malik Holtzclaw, a 23-year-old from Goodwater, Alabama, died on May 5, 2022, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Holtzclaw's death followed a tragic series of events that began when he was found unresponsive in a vehicle on a rural road in Coosa County, Alabama.
