In the early evening of June 16, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the Bay Pointe Apartments on St. Stephens Road in Mobile, Alabama. When police arrived, they discovered two men who had been shot multiple times. One of the victims was 29-year-old Kendric Pritchett, a Black male from Mobile. He and the other victim, 22-year-old Joshua Stallworth, were pronounced dead at the scene.
