On a Thursday evening in Washington, D.C., a burst of violence cut short the life of 28-year-old Kevin Delonte Lucas. The incident occurred on November 21, 2013, at approximately 8:09 pm in the 100 block of 34th Street, Southeast. Officers from the Sixth Patrol District responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Lucas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
