In the early morning hours of July 10, 2022, Barbara Williamson Shaw, a 49-year-old Caucasian female from Abbeville, Alabama, died from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred at her residence on County Road 57 in Henry County.

Her boyfriend, Jamie Whitehead, was arrested and charged with her murder. According to the Henry County Sheriff, Whitehead, who was intoxicated at the time, fled to a neighbor's house after the shooting and confessed to having shot Shaw. Whitehead is bei ...
