On July 28, 2022, in Madison, Alabama, 22-year-old Chi Ari-Hasan McDade was fatally shot during a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend, Antonio Terrell Burks. The incident occurred in the area of SW Wall Street, where Burks allegedly pulled out a gun and shot McDade in the face while she was inside a vehicle. She was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
