On January 7, 2022, 26-year-old Courtney Spraggins was found fatally shot in the head inside her vehicle at the Weston Ranch Apartments in Huntsville, Alabama. Spraggins, originally from Trion, Georgia, was seven months pregnant at the time of her death.
