On November 15, 2022, Savannah Hancock Tolbert, a 37-year-old white female, was found fatally shot in Madison, Alabama. Officers from the Huntsville Police Department responded to a call at the 7400 block of Highway 72 West, where they discovered her body. Initially, her death was considered a possible suicide, but further investigation by the Major Crimes Unit revealed evidence suggesting a domestic-related homicide.
