Crissilin Chanel Orlino Cruz, a 23-year-old female of Chamorro Guamanian descent, was found fatally shot in Palmer, Alaska in mid-September 2018. She was born in 1994 in Tamuning, Guam, and moved with her family to Alaska in 2001. She lived in both Anchorage and Palmer, attended local schools including West High School in Anchorage, and worked jobs such as at Safeway and Starbucks. She was described by family as warm, caring, soft-spoken, and committed to her loved ones.
