On December 4, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Valley Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of County Road 196 in Valley, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Dalton Alexander Stringfellow of Salem, Alabama, unresponsive in a ditch. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene but were unable to revive him.
