On May 10, 2023, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Tuskegee police responded to a report of a deceased individual at the Lakeshore Apartments complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered 54-year-old James Earl Daniel, a resident of Tuskegee, Alabama, who had been fatally shot.
