Death by Force

On May 13, 2023, at approximately 5:23 p.m., Montgomery police responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Finley Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Deontae Vickers, a Montgomery resident, who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. A male victim was also found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
