On June 11, 2023, at approximately 5:58 p.m., the Demopolis Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident on Rainbow Circle in Demopolis, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 17-year-old Isiah Henley suffering from a gunshot wound. Henley was transported to Whitfield Regional Hospital by Amstar EMS, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation led to the arrest of 39-year-old James Lenard Zanders, who was charged with Henley's murder. Authoritie
