On June 17, 2016, at approximately 12:32 a.m., the Demopolis Police Department responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Herbert Street in Demopolis, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Joseph Shane Goodwin suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marengo County Coroner.

Joseph Goodwin was the minister of the First Christian Church in Demopolis and actively participated in the local youth baseball league as an umpire. He also ...Read More
