In the summer of 2023, the life of 22-year-old Quontavious Janard Cooper, a male resident of Anniston, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of June 17th, Cooper was in Talladega at the intersection of East Battle Street and Haynes Street. He was inside a vehicle with another man when gunfire erupted, fatally wounding him and injuring the other occupant.
