On March 26, 2024, at approximately 9:33 p.m., 20-year-old Faisal Alrakan was fatally shot on the 1000 block of Oakland Drive in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered Alrakan with multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation led detectives to identify 18-year-old Jeremy Thigpin Jr. as a suspect. On March 27, 2024, Thigpin was arrested and charged with felony murder and distribution of marijuana. Court docum ...Read More
