In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Mobile, Alabama, the life of Gregory Sledge, a 29-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 22, 2020, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers from the Mobile Police Department were dispatched to the Crossings at Pinebrook Apartments on Azalea Road following reports of a shooting.
