On July 22, 2020, at approximately 9:48 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a shooting at the Crossings at Pinebrook Apartments, located at 363 Azalea Road in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Gregory Sledge suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
