On June 14, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at The District at Phenix City apartment complex in Phenix City, Alabama. At approximately 2:00 PM, 52-year-old Christopher Bernard Womack was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite officers' attempts to administer life-saving measures, Womack was pronounced dead at 2:43 PM.
