On July 7, 2024, 19-year-old Jeremy Deuntae Bryant of Orrville, Alabama, was fatally shot during an incident at Shop Boyz Lounge in Orrville. The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. and also resulted in another man being shot in the leg. Bryant was pronounced dead upon arrival at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
