In the small town of Orrville, Alabama, a night out turned deadly for 19-year-old Jeremy “Chop” Deuntae Bryant. On July 7, 2024, a shootout erupted at the Shop Boyz Lounge, leaving Bryant with a fatal gunshot wound. Another individual was also injured in the exchange of gunfire but survived. Emergency services were alerted to the two men who had been transported to a local hospital, but Bryant ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
