Ladarrius Antonio Kennedy, a 31-year-old Black male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on a sidewalk in Birmingham, Alabama, on the evening of July 29, 2024. The Birmingham Police Department responded to a call at approximately 10:50 p.m. at 1017 3rd Avenue West, where they discovered Kennedy unresponsive. He was immediately transported to UAB Hospital for medical treatment.
