On October 25, 2024, at approximately 1:57 a.m., Montgomery Police Department officers and fire medics responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Montgomery resident Devin Ligon and 29-year-old Jeroderick Bell suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
