A 50-year-old White woman, Karen Davis, died on October 3, 2014 in Wasilla, Alaska. She was born April 6, 1964 in Whitehall, New York, and had served eight years in the U.S. Air Force beginning at age 21. At the time of her death she was living in Wasilla, having moved there in 2013 after spending years in Fairbanks.
Early on the morning of October 3, 2014, Wasilla police discovered her body in the parking lot of the Sears store in Wasilla. The death was deemed to involve gun violence.
