On June 24, 2016, 70-year-old Danuta Arabasz was found deceased in her Kasilof, Alaska, home. The Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious death and, upon arrival, discovered Arabasz's body with signs of trauma, indicating foul play. The State Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that she died from multiple stab wounds.
