On January 28, 2018, 52-year-old Carl R. Bowie Jr. was fatally shot in Anchorage, Alaska. At approximately 8:15 p.m., Anchorage Police Department (APD) dispatch received multiple reports of gunfire near the intersection of 36th Avenue and Arctic Boulevard.
