On March 17, 2024, in Anchorage, Alaska, 43-year-old Franklin Stevens-McConkey was fatally shot during an altercation near East Tudor Road and Dale Street. The incident began when Stevens-McConkey and two companions were walking down Dale Street and encountered a vehicle exiting the parking lot of Uncle Joe's Pizzeria.
