White/Caucasian male Geoffrey Lawrence Sorden, 48, died on June 18, 2018, after a shooting in Anchorage, Alaska. Police were called a little after 4 p.m. to a residence in the 6000-block of Austin Street, near Dowling Road and the Old Seward Highway, where officers found two men with gunshot wounds: Geoffrey Sorden, 48, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and the homeowner, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
