On November 8, 2018, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Anchorage Police Department (APD) officers responded to a report of an adult male lying in the street in the 3900 block of East 8th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 40-year-old Tupou Satini Jr. suffering from injuries consistent with an assault. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to those injuries the following day, November 9, 2018.
