On February 10, 2024, Anchorage police responded to a 911 call from 24-year-old Dylan Cole Moss, who reported that he had shot someone in the head. Upon arrival at an apartment complex on Huntsmen Circle, officers found 21-year-old Gabriel LeBlanc deceased in his bedroom from a single gunshot wound to the head. Moss was standing outside the apartment and was detained for questioning.
