On February 4, 2019, at approximately 11:05 p.m., Anchorage police responded to reports of gunfire in the 1100 block of Cordova Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Salisa Loucks deceased inside a Jeep SUV, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the upper body. The vehicle was located in an alley on East 12th Avenue near Cordova Street.
