Murdered

On April 15, 2021, in the village of Kotlik, Alaska, 49-year-old Yago Pitka was fatally shot by 54-year-old Ralph John Waska. The incident occurred at Waska's residence following an altercation between the two men. According to reports, the confrontation began when Pitka was asked to leave Waska's home but refused, leading to a physical attack on Waska.
