On January 8, 2022, 20-year-old Markland William Randell Morgan was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Alaska Club East at 5201 E Tudor Road in Anchorage, Alaska. Responding officers discovered Morgan deceased at the scene. The Anchorage Police Department (APD) initiated an investigation to identify the perpetrator and understand the circumstances leading to the shooting.
