On January 25, 2023, at approximately 11:45 PM, Anchorage police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2300 block of Eureka Street, located in the Midtown area. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Elijah Anderson deceased, having sustained trauma to his upper body. The Anchorage Police Department initiated a homicide investigation, urging anyone with information or surveillance footage from the vicinity to come forward.
