White/Caucasian male Daniel McCreadie, age 31, was killed on September 12, 2017, during a triple homicide inside The Bullion Brothers, a precious-metals shop on Spenard Road in Anchorage. That afternoon's gunfire left three men dead: co-owner Steven Cook, 31; Kenneth Hartman, 48; and Daniel McCreadie, 31. The case quickly drew citywide attention for the brutality of the scene and for the lone survivor, Michael DuPree, who would later become a key eyewitness.
