On July 19, 2023, at approximately 4:38 p.m., Alaska State Troopers from the Glennallen detachment responded to a report of a deceased female near mile 4.5 of the Old Edgerton Highway, close to Kenny Lake. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Tonsina resident Daisy Delarm, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect, 26-year-old Kenny Lake resident Tristin Harvey, was present at the scene.
